"It worked, just took a while??"
It did end up working, so that’s good, but it took longer than I expected?? Not a huge deal, just kind of confusing waiting around and wondering if it was actually doing anything

"Good fix, but support was a bit slow"
I had to wait longer than I would’ve liked for replies, which made me a little nervous since it was a backup issue and I don’t like taking chances with my data. That said, they did get it fixed in the end, and everything seems to be working now. Overall not a bad experience, but I’d feel more comfortable if support was a bit quicker, especially for anything backup-related

"Deleted Files are Way too messy"
I tried using idrive.com because I figured managing deleted files would be straightforward, but it ended up being more confusing than I expected.
Stuff I had already deleted was still showing up in the backup, and figuring out how to actually clear it out was not obvious at all. I kept clicking through settings and still felt like I wasn’t totally sure what was Really gone and what was still sitting there.
Support was okay, but the answers felt kind of basic and didn’t really solve the problem. For something as Important as backups, handling deleted files should feel a lot cleaner than this.
"I like the tool overall, but managing shared..."
I like the tool overall, but managing shared links has been kind of a hassle. The permissions aren’t super clear, so I end up double-checking everything before sending anything out. For what I’m paying, I’d really expect the sharing controls to be a bit smoother and easier to understand.

"Works fine, but the menus could be cleaner"
It works fine overall, and I haven’t had any major issues with it. Umm, the only thing is that the menus can feel a bit messy sometimes, so it takes a little longer to find what I’m looking for.

"Easy backup with a little extra peace of mind"
I’ve been using iDrive for my backups, i like it so far. The private encryption key option is a big plus for me since it makes me feel better about storing personal documents and photos. Setup was straightforward too. I was expecting it to be more complicated, well, not complicated exactly, but maybe more annoying, and it really wasn’t. No weird privacy surprises so far, which I appreciate.
"Good Speed Overall"
The speed was good overall, and I didn’t really run into any major issues, if that makes sense.

"I was having trouble getting my Synology..."
I was having trouble getting my Synology NAS backup set up, but idrive support walked me through everything without making it feel overly complicated. It took a little back and forth, but it’s working fine now :) Happy with the help!

"Does the job, but really slows things down"
The backup itself works fine, so I can’t complain too much there. But every now and then it starts using way too much CPU and my laptop gets super laggy. It feels a bit careless in how it handles resources, like it just kicks in without considering what I’m doing. Not a dealbreaker, but definitely annoying...

"Good backup option, but not the smoothest"
I’ve been using IDrive on my laptop, phone, and an older desktop, and overall it does what I need it to do. My files are backed up, which gives me some peace of mind, especially across a few different devices. That said, getting everything set up felt a little clunky, and the app doesn’t always sync the way I expect it to. Support was decent when I reached out, but it wasn’t exactly quick. It’s a solid enough service, but I wish the whole experience felt a bit more polished.

"Setup turned into a whole saga"
I signed up for IDrive thinking I’d be in and out in a few minutes, but wow, the setup had other plans for me. The app installed without a fight, but then came the grand mystery of figuring out what was actually selected for backup.
Some of the settings felt like they were hidden in secret underground tunnels. I kept bouncing between the website and the desktop app like I was solving some dramatic tech puzzle, it made the whole thing feel way more annoying than it needed to be.
To be fair, it does work once you wrestle it into position, but that first setup was clunky. I expected something simple and smooth, not a miniature emotional journey

"Backup works fine, restore is a bit slow"
The disk image backup worked okay for me overall. It did what I needed it to do, but the restore process felt kind of slow... not a dealbreaker, just something I noticed while using it.

"Good storage for the price, but the renewal cost caught me off guard"
I’ve been using idrive for a while now, and overall it’s been a solid backup service. The main thing that drew me in at first was how much storage they give you for the price, because compared to a lot of other options, it felt like a really good deal. Setup was simple enough, my backups have been running fine, and I haven’t had any major issues with the actual service itself. That said, I was a little surprised when the renewal price came around and ended up being higher than I had expected. Maybe I missed the details somewhere, but I do wish they made the long-term pricing a bit more obvious upfront instead of it feeling like a surprise later. I’m still using it because it does what I need it to do, but the pricing is definitely something I’d tell people to look at carefully before signing up
"Scheduling is Okay, but could be Better"
idrive has been fine for my backups overall. I like that I can set it to run at regular times, but changing the schedule around isn’t always as easy as I thought it would be. Sometimes I have to mess with the settings a bit more than I’d like. It gets the job done, so i can’t really complain too much, but I do wish it was more flexible for different days and Times.

"Solid backup, but I’m not totally sure about the versioning"
I’ve been using IDrive for backing up my files and, for the most part, it does what I need. The one thing I’m still a little unsure about is the file versioning stuff. Maybe I missed a setting somewhere, but it’s not super obvious to me how long older versions are kept or how to manage them easily. It did help me recover an older file once, which was a relief, so I’m glad that’s there. Overall it works, but that part feels a bit clunky.

"Works Well for My External Drive Backup"
I’ve been using IDrive to back up my 2TB external drive, and for my setup, it’s been solid. The first backup definitely took a long time, which I kind of expected with that much data, but after that it’s been running smoothly enough. I did run into one small sync issue, but support helped me get it sorted out. Overall, I’m happy with it and it does what I need.
"Good backup service, but keep an eye on renewal pricing"
IDrive has been fine for backups, honestly. I don’t really have any major complaints about how it works. My main issue was more with the billing side of things. The first-year price was good, but then the renewal ended up being way higher than I expected. Maybe I missed the fine print or something, but I feel like it could’ve been made a bit clearer before they charged me. Support did get back to me, but yeah, not exactly super fast. Overall, it’s an okay service, just make sure you watch your renewal date.

"Solid backup app, just a little slow sometimes"
I mostly use IDrive on my phone to back up photos and a few work files, and overall it’s been straightforward. Setup was easy enough, it’s nice being able to check on my backups without having to open my laptop every time. Common sense stuff, but it makes a difference. I’m giving it 4 stars because the app can be a bit slow when loading folders, and the photo backup sometimes takes a while to catch up. It’s not a huge problem or anything, just mildly annoying when you’re waiting on it. Other than that, it does what I need it to do.

"Quick and painless setup"
Setup was quick, which I appreciated because I really don’t have the patience to mess around with confusing instructions. I got it done without getting lost or frustrated.
"IDrive Express was surprisingly smooth"
The courier box showed up fast, and the restore was simple enough. I thought it might be a hassle—actually, no, it was painless overall. No real drama, which is exactly what I wanted.
